This award recognizes exceptional participation in school activities, community service, volunteer work, or special talents. For the Fall 2011/spring 2012, Achievement awards go up to $14,500 per year. Students are automatically considered for an Achievement Award upon admission to the University. |

No separate application is necessary. The award is renewable each year provided the student remains a full-time undergraduate in good academic standing. Additionally, prospective Fine Arts majors may receive an Achievement Award based on the quality of their portfolio review and prospective B.F.A. in Acting majors may receive one based on their audition. |

This $3,000 annual award is automatically given to the dependent children, grandchildren or great-grandchildren of Arcadia University (formerly Beaver College) alumni when they enroll as full-time undergraduates at Arcadia University provided they are in the top 25% of their graduating class, meet regular admissions criteria and are "dependent" according to federal guidelines. Students must notify the Enrollment Management Office of their intent to use the grant by January 1 for the next fall semester, or by November 1 for the next spring semester. |

| Description |
This award recognizes academic excellence, outstanding leadership, and community and volunteer service. Freshman awards go up $21,000 annually for new students entering in fall of 2012 or spring of 2013. High school seniors are evaluated on the basis of their grades, SAT/ACT scores, types of coursework taken, high school rank and involvement. Transfer applicants who are accepted as full-time students will automatically be reviewed for Distinguished Scholarships. Scholarships for fall 2012/spring 2013 go up to $16,500 per year for full-time transfer students entering as new students. Transfer students are evaluated on the basis of their cumulative GPA and coursework. |

The $30 application fee is waived for applying online. Students who visit Arcadia University for a tour, an admissions interview, a Saturday Information Session or an Open House do not have to pay an application fee. Arcadia University also receives applications with fee waivers sent directly from their school's Guidance Counselor. |
