About Stevens Institute of Technology

Founded in 1870 in Hoboken, New Jersey, Stevens is one of the leading technological universities in the country, offering bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees in engineering, the sciences, computer science, business, and the humanities. Unique to Stevens is its educational environment, called Technogenesis, where students, faculty, and industry jointly nurture new technologies from concept to marketplace realization.

Stevens offers baccalaureates, master's and doctoral degrees in engineering, science, computer science and management, in addition to a baccalaureate degree in the humanities and liberal arts, and in business and technology. The university has a total enrollment of 2,040 undergraduate and 3,085 graduate students, and a worldwide online enrollment of 2,250, with a full-time tenured/tenure-track faculty of 140 and more than 200 full-time special faculty. Stevens' graduate programs have attracted international participation from China, India, Southeast Asia, Europe and Latin America.

Scholarship Name Debaun Performing Arts Scholarship

Description Students demonstrating achievement in performance, including drama or music, are considered for selection. Recipients of this scholarship will be awarded between $1,000-$5,000 per year, based on outstanding academic achievement, an essay, and either a performance resume, video, CD, or letter of recommendation that highlights your accomplishments.
