In recognition of membership in the Venture Scholars Program, Northwestern University grants application fee waivers for all Venture Scholars. |

Online Applicants (www.commonapp.org) 1. Common Application: After submitting the Common Application and initiating the Northwestern Supplement, go to the “Payments” page. Select Northwestern University, then click “Other” below the “Fee Waiver Request” heading. A check box will appear; click the box, then click “Save.” Also, 2. Northwestern Supplement to the Common Application: While completing the Northwestern Supplement to the Common Application online, you’ll see a space to enter a fee waiver code. Enter this code: 303. Paper Applicants If you are using the paper version of the Common Application and the Northwestern Supplement to the Common Application, please enter fee waiver code 303 in the space provided on our supplement. If you recieve an email stating that your application fee is missing, please reply and state that you are a Venture Scholar. Upon reciept of your reply, we will be happy to update our records and waive the fee. Remember, you must submit both the Common Application and a Northwestern Supplement to the Common Application to be considered for admission. We look forward to receiving your application to Northwestern University.

| Barnard College accepts the College Board fee waiver, the NACAC fee waiver, the College Opportunity fee waiver, among others. We will also accept a letter from the student's guidance counselor or college access adviser requesting that the $65 application be waived for financial reasons, based on criteria similar to what is outlined on the above referenced forms. |

To qualify for a fee waiver, simply submit proof of your involvement with The Ventures Scholars Program along with your application for admission to Barnard College.

Students applying as first-time freshmen can only use the following documents to waive their application fee: - The fee waivers provided by either the ACT or SAT, verifying that a fee waiver was used to register for the respective test. These waivers are available only from the student’s high school guidance office.
- The Request for Admission Application Fee Waiver form provided by NACAC (National Association for College Admissions Counseling).
