FINANCIAL GOALS
What
are some of your financial goals?
Goals take different amounts of time to accomplish. Short-term
goals take one to three months. Mid-term goals take one to
three years. Long-term goals may take four or more years to
realize. Use the chart to list a few short-term goals, such
as buying a new computer, along with some long-term goals,
such as graduating from college with little debt. It helps
to see your goals on paper, and some people swear it helps
them visualize achieving those goals.
Sometimes it seems like a drag to save money. Where's the
fun? Achieving goals is major fun. Post your list of financial
goals where you can remind yourself why you're being careful
with money. Then congratulate yourself whenever you achieve
one of your objectives. It's a huge deal and something about
which to be very proud.
