MathStar
MathStar is an intensive preparation for high school algebra for students who will be taking their first algebra course next fall.

Application Process/Prerequisites:
Complete an application.

Application Deadline:
Students may apply after September 1. There is no deadline for applying BUT, since there are many more applicants than positions available, students are encouraged to apply as early as possible. Acceptance will be made beginning 12/1. The program will probably be filled by 2/1.

Fee (in 2002):
The cost is $225 per student (including books and daily lunch). Some scholarships are available for students who apply early and have either an obvious need and/or an exceptional academic record.
