Pre-Freshman and Cooperative education (PREFACE)
A one week program offered to African American, Native American, Mexican American, and Puerto Rican students presently in the 9th or 10th grades who want to investigate career possibilities in the field of engineering. This is a residential program.

Application Process:
Applications are available in April. Interested students must complete an application and be recommended by a guidance counselor, math teacher, or science teacher. Applicants will be notified with an official letter of acceptance when they are selected for the program.

Fee (in 2002):
Approximately $200 plus transportation to and from the program.
