Pre-College Summer Programs
Our pre-college programs are designed for high school
students who will be rising juniors and seniors during
the program. If you are already a college student interested
in taking classes at Dickinson College during the summer,

Our pre-college summer programs provide an exciting
way to make your transition to college easier. You'll
get the real scoop, taking classes with college students,
learning, socializing, and being part of the college
experience. You'll enhance your applications to competitive
colleges by demonstrating that you are a serious student
who knows what it takes to succeed in college.
You can immerse yourself in topics that you may only
briefly encounter in high school-explore new things
or check out that career you always thought was right
for you. Our pre-college courses, field trips, and activities
will give you a significant exposure to your area of
interest and to college life. All of this happens in
the care of the most dedicated faculty and staff you'll
encounter anywhere. You'll have the opportunity to earn
academic credit that will transfer to most colleges.

The above link has all the application instructions
for all the programs. Deadline extensions are available
for all Summer Pre-College Programs (PC, SI, RW, YW
& LF). Applications will continue to be reviewed
as long as there is space available in the program.
Your completed application includes two letters of
recommendation (from a teacher and a counselor or principal),
an official copy of your transcript, an essay and an
application section for general information about you.
There is a nonrefundable application fee of $40 to cover
the costs of processing your application. Our applications
are on a rolling basis. Space is limited, so early application
is recommended. A nonrefundable deposit of $250 is required
for all students accepted and enrolled in the on-campus
Pre-College Programs.

Scholarships:
Partial scholarships are available on a limited
basis for students that demonstrate high financial need.
Applications for the Spanish Immersion Program are
to insure processing and reservations for the flight
to Mexico. There is a nonrefundable application fee
of $40 to cover the costs of processing your application.
A nonrefundable deposit of $500 is required for all
students accepted and enrolled in the Spanish Immersion
