Summer Challenge Program
The Boston University Summer Challenge Program is a
two-week, non-credit college preparatory program for
current high school freshmen, sophomores, and juniors.
Students chooose two seminars from the areas of creative
writing, expository writing, oral communication, and
science. Recreation activities are offered in the afternoons,
and sponsored social events are scheduled for evenings
and the weekend. Participants in the Summer Challenge
Program interact in a small, non-competitive atmosphere
that enocrages independent thinking and group participation.
The courses are designed to build on high-school learning
and expose students to the standards of college-level

Registration:
To register for Boston University Summer Challenge Program,
please follow the following steps:
- A completed registration form.
- A one-page personal statement sharing a story about
yourself - somewhere you have been or somehting you
have done or want to do.
- An official copy of your high school transcript,
including your Fall 2002 grades.
- Mail the registration form, high school transcript,
and personal statement, along with either a $100 nonrefundable
deposit or the full program fee ($2500) to:
