Summer Astronomy Institute
Each year Alfred University welcomes high
school students to campus to take part in the Summer
Astronomy Institute. This institute gives students an
opportunity to learn more about astronomy, to sample
life on a college campus, and to meet other students
with similar interests and academic ability.
The program provides a mix of night and day time activities.
When not in class, students enjoy planned activities
on campus as well as free time for relaxation. Living,
dining and learning together, students have ample opportunity
to get to know each other and develop lasting friendships.
