How Can I Plan for a Career As an Epidemiologist or a Medical Lab Technologist? "I think I either want to be an Epidemiologist or a Medical and Clinical Laboratory Technologist. When colleges send me information neither of the two are listed under the list of college majors. I'm confused because when I go to college what am I supposed to major in. From University of Vermont: The University of Vermont is broken up into 7 schools and colleges, one of which is the College of Nursing and Health Sciences. Within that college, there is a Medical Lab Science major (also known as MLS).
