Call it the best of both worlds. Penn State Engineering
offers students both cultural resources and prestige
while never losing the small town feeling where everyone
knows your name. The Multicultural Engineering Program
sponsors monthly mentoring lunches and advisory committee
activities, along with networking opportunities with
the Black Graduate Student Association, the Society
of Hispanic Professional Engineers and the Office of
Graduate Educational Equity, help students to become
a stronger part of the College community.
The Penn State College of Engineering consistently
ranks among the top ten engineering colleges in total
research support and is a member of the National Consortium
for Graduate Degrees for Minorities in Engineering and
Science, Inc. Penn State currently ranks third nationally
in industrially-sponsored research.
Qualified individuals may be considered for admission
and financial aid for any semester (August or January)
or summer session (May or June). Admission is granted
jointly by the Graduate School and the academic program.
